One Week down and all is well in the Grotto :)
Hello Geckos!
This past week was all about getting to know each other and setting our expectations high...We have already celebrated two birthdays (yea Anna Jo and Elisha!) Our learning centers begin next week as we being the TPRI testing...Please make sure you are well rested, have eaten a good breakfast and are in class. We will be exploring the world through our Five Senses and include Labs in Taste, Smell, Hearing, Seeing and Touching and you will answer questions like "Does My Ability to Smell Affect my Ability to Taste? (as you try to taste the difference between apples, potatoes and onions with your nose pinched shut)..."Does the Amount of Water in a Glass Change the Tone of Sound" "Do I Need to See My Hand in Order to Draw?" (blind contour drawing), "Why Does a Prism Create the Colors of the Rainbow?" and so much more :)
